Sharmila Parmanand

With a PhD in Gender Studies, University of Cambridge and Gates Scholar. Sharmila worked with universities, high schools, education ministries, and development agencies to organize debate and public-speaking training for students and teachers. She had been involved as an organizer, lead judge, trainer, and coach in events in over 30 countries such as Afghanistan, Australia, South Africa, South Korea, United Kingdom, United States, etc. She also sets the organization’s research direction, supervises and conducts research projects on human trafficking and related issues, leads knowledge-sharing with partners in the government, civil society, and academia, and develop policy advocacy campaigns.
